More about Kurt
I've spent more than a few years operating, scaling, and advising early-stage companies, always down in the mud, never the ivory tower. And what I learned is that growth can sometimes be (and often is) a real knife fight. Luckily, I've picked up a few moves along the way.
Before launching Growth Marshal, I spent most of my career in tech, specifically AI/ML. Before they were called LLMs, we referred to them as "unstructured data models". (Thanks for the tip, grandpa 👴).
That background splits naturally into the two things Growth Marshal does today. On the visibility side, I get to engineer how businesses show up inside the AI-driven conversations that shape markets. On the operations side, I get to design the workflow systems that turn manual, repetitive business processes into reliable, AI-powered execution. One is about being found. The other is about getting more done. Both are about helping founder-led businesses compete without adding headcount.
IMO, this intersection of AI visibility and AI operations is where the action is: the problem-solving, the ambiguity, the occasional absurdity. Helping my clients navigate it is a blast and a true privilege.
Today, I live just outside NYC with my wife, three kids [13, 9, 9] and a slightly neurotic Dachshund named Tilly. When I'm not hammering away in my office, you'll likely find me hauling my son back and forth from wrestling practice.
