Zero-Click Search

A search interaction where the user’s query is resolved directly within the results interface or an AI-generated response, removing the need to visit an external website. In traditional search engines, this occurs through featured snippets, knowledge panels, calculators, or instant answers. In AI-native search, it occurs when large language models (LLMs) generate full, self-contained answers that satisfy user intent without directing traffic to the original source.
